Falcon Fishing Report

May 5, 2021
GOOD. Water stained north and clearer south; 72 degrees; 43.66’ low. Afternoons are fishable after rain brought cooler temperatures. Black bass are great fishing shallow or deep. Starting the day in vegetation will get you warmed up working topwater or worms. Riprap and the dam along with brush piles below 10 feet on square bill crankbait, thicker Carolina rigged worms and thick worms on Texas rigs. Still seeing success with all baits as bass continue to build on the legend. Crappie are good, finding in rock ledges and shallower brush. Catfish are excellent fishing all over the lake on most all baits. Remember to stay on the Texas side unless you possess a Mexican Fishing License.
