Freeport Fishing Report

FAIR. 81 degrees. When the wind allows fishing has been steady. The San Bernard River, Oyster Creek and Freeport Harbor have been good for trout, redfish, flounder, and few drum mixed in using live shrimp or live finger mullet on the bottom. The back lakes around Salt Lake, Cox Lake, Alligator Lake, Oyster Lake been good with live shrimp under pop n cork or live mullet throwing against the shoreline near drains coming out of the marshes. Anticipate increased recreational boater traffic this weekend.
