Grapevine Fishing Report

Feb 22, 2024
FAIR. Water clear; 50 degrees; 0.55 feet above pool. Cold fronts are slowing down so fishing will improve. White bass should be in the creeks for the spawn. The creeks are full with a good flow. Fish are in 40-50 feet of water suspended down 20-35 feet of water biting slabs on stingers hooks using a thumper. Crappie are in the deeper water and can be caught on jigs. Bass may be 15-18 feet of water working imitation crawfish or blue soft plastics very slowly. Report by Omar Cotter, Luck O’the Irish Fishing Guide Service.
