- GOOD. Water stained; 55 degrees; 0.28 feet below pool. Crappie are fair in 25 feet of water on brush piles with minnows or jigs. Channel catfish are good in 25-30 feet of water on midlake points with punch bait. Report by Jess Rotherham, Texas Crappie Fishing Service.
