LBJ Fishing Report
- Oct 20, 2021
- GOOD. Water lightly stained; 70 degrees; 0.76 feet low. Fishing is more comfortable in the Fall weather and the fishing is good as the fish feed up and we see more schooling action. White bass are schooling up with some topwater action. Fish near main lake channels, flats, and humps with live bait, swimbaits, and slabs. Black bass are fair on plastic worms, football jigs, swimbaits, and diving crankbaits worked near rocky shorelines, main lake points, and timber in water depths 14-28 feet. Crappie are fair on minnows and chartreuse jigs around brush piles in water depths 12-18 feet. Lots of small crappie, but keep working it, and you'll leave with a few keepers. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers, live bait, and cut bait.
Zebra Mussel Alert To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters. Get details.
