- FAIR. Water lightly stained; 58-60 degrees; 0.11’ high. Largemouth bass are good most of the winter day working points, vegetation, and in creeks on the northern end of the lake. The best baits continue to be Carolina rigged worms, spinners, and jigs. Striped bass are good on spoons and shad. Crappie are excellent on minnows and jigs in the creeks. White bass are good on spoons and Alabama Rigs in coves, and main lake. Catfish are fair on live bait and prepped dough balls.
