- FAIR. Water slightly stained; 86 degrees; 15.86 feet below pool. Lake has risen over 7 feet in a week. The upper end of the lake is very dirty with lots of floating debris. The lower end is still clear from the Lee day area. Black bass good to 5 pounds in newly flooded vegetation on topwater frogs, ploppers, chatterbaits and Texas rigged worms. Crappie are on the move with the new water. There are some reports of catches in 12-15 feet of water. White bass reports are good at night under lights with live bait in the main lake area. Catfish are fair on jug lines and under corks suspended in trees. Stink baits and cut shad are best. Report by Wendell Ramsey, Ramsey Fishing.
