GOOD. Water clear; 62-64 degrees; 41.57 feet below pool. A lot of active bass up shallow feeding right now. Moving baits such as swimbaits, crankbaits, jerkbaits and Alabama rigs are all catching good numbers of bass. Soft plastics are doing good as well. Most shorelines around the lake you can find fish biting. Report by Carson Conklin, ATX Fishing. Numbers of catches of smaller Guadalupe bass. Sandy Creek area is clear, so fish grass with small swimbaits, and craw baits. Lake is low, so cover water targeting any structure peeking out of the water. Adjust your lure weight according to the depth, shallow creeks 2-3 feet deep weightless senko or worm, in 20 feet of water throw a shaky head. Throw moving baits like shallow to medium crankbaits, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits or dragging plastics like worms, jigs, creature baits and craw worms in green colors for plastics and shad colors for moving baits.
