- GOOD. Water lightly stained; 85 degrees. Largemouth bass are good on double-bladed spinners, square billed crankbaits, and drop shots near points, rocks, and brushy shorelines. Hybrid stripers are fair with live bait, large silver spoons, and chartreuse swimbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs near brush piles, creeks, and timber. Catfish are good on chicken liver, live and punch bait. Sunfish are good on crickets, cutworms, and shrimp pieces.
