GOOD. Water clear; 84 degrees. Water level is low, larger boats will have a difficult time launching. Bass fishing is good on worms, but topwater bite has slowed with the cooler weather and fish are scattered shallow and deep. Crappie are fair to good. Report by David Townsend, Austin Fishing Guide. Crappie continue to be good in 12-18 feet of water with white and orange jigs. Catfish are 12-16 feet of water. Report by Jess Rotherham, Texas Crappie Fishing Service. Bass are good on hollow bodied frogs early in the morning and afternoon targeting matted hydrilla, and reeds. In submerged grass shallow grass throw weedless paddle tail swimbait, light weighted worm Texas rigged, or weightless wacky worm.
