GOOD. Water normal stain; 83 degrees; 0.31 feet above pool. Water temp is 85. All fish are in summer patterns. Bass are good in the mornings and evenings. Catching them in deeper water off points. Crappie are being caught in high numbers on brushpiles with minnows. White bass are on points and humps and will hit almost anything. Catfish are scattered and roaming, but the bite is good. Report by Chris Caswell, Lake Bob Sandlin Crappie Fishing Guide. Check out the backs of coves for hydrilla and milfoil, fish patterns should draw bass out from cover. Top water patterns in lilies should be good at midday. Catfish are moving shallow, wooly buggers should work well. Clousers on sunny rocky shores might draw a strike. Report by Guide Alex Guthrie, Fly Fish Fork Guide Service. Crappie continue to congregate on structure, schooling on timber in 10-30 feet of water. Minnows are preferred over jigs. The quality of fish is phenomenal. Report by River Bottom Boys Guide Service.
