Big Bend Region Week of September 23, 2020

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 84 degrees; 45.62’ low. As soon as it turns on, it can turn off around here, and we had a little of both the past week. Black bass are inconsistent with some weather shifts. Fish mostly shallower with Carolina rigged worms, crankbait, and topwaters. White bass are fair with some varying depths between 15-22 feet fishing spoons and small crankbait. Catfish are fair on shrimp, chicken livers, and stinkbait dough balls, especially near Pecos River influence of the Rio Grande. Remember to stay on the Texas side of the lake unless you possess a Mexican Fishing License.
