Big Bend Region Week of February 1, 2023

GOOD. Water stained; 60 degrees; 35.43 feet below pool. Winter fishing patterns are holding steady. Largemouth bass are fair on deep diving crankbaits, jigs, Carolina rigs and dropshots on deeper grass edges and river ledges 20-30 feet. White and striped bass are good on bigger bays chasing baits balls out deep in 30-60 feet of water. Bucktail jigs, spoons, little george, blade baits and rattletraps in shad colors work best.
