Angling Opportunities

Fishing opportunities abound in this segment of the Llano River for Largemouth and Guadalupe Bass. Channel Catfish and Sunfish are also good species to target. Fishing for Largemouth and Guadalupe Bass is best when the water is clear, as these species feed primarily by sight. Anglers should target faster riffle areas for Guadalupe Bass, and downed trees and aquatic vegetation in pool habitat for Largemouth Bass.

Anglers are urged to practice moderation in harvesting sportfish in this segment of the Llano River, especially Guadalupe Bass.

Fishing Regulations

All species are currently managed under statewide regulations.
