All adult hunters must possess a current Annual Public Hunting Permit (APH) to apply. Before hunting drawn hunters must attend the one and only mandatory hunter orientation at Alazan Bayou WMA headquarters at 3:00 pm on the first day of the hunt period. After orientation you will be shown the area to familiarize yourself. Hunting will occur on the 2nd and 3rd days of your hunt period. NOTE: No latecomers will be accepted on E-postcard Multi-species Hunts. Hunters that do not arrive by the 3:00 p.m. mandatory orientation will forfeit their position on the hunt. No exceptions will be made.
