All adult hunters must possess a current Annual Public Hunting Permit (APH) to apply. Because of the extremely rugged terrain of the park, hunters should be prepared for a very strenuous hunt that may occur during severe winter conditions such as freezing rain or snow. Hunters should be prepared for long distance shots of at least 200 yards. Hunters will have access to 2,400 acres of the park. Hunters must check in deer at designated check-in station.

Vehicular access is restricted to public roadways. Hunters are responsible for driving to their compartment. Compartment access is from high-clearance 4X4 county road. Use of atvs, horses and dogs are prohibited. Antler restrictions apply for all deer.

Compartment ; Also, the removal of the harvested animal from portions of the park to the nearest road can be very strenuous because of the terrain and size of the animals. Camping is available within the main park.

Falconers will have access to approximately 3,300 acres of the park. Because of the extremely rugged terrain of the park, falconers should be prepared for a very strenuous hunt that may occur during severe winter conditions such as freezing rain or snow.
