Permitted hunters should report to the Park headquarters by 9:30 a.m. on the first day of their assigned hunt period. Orientation begins at 10:00 AM. This will be a backpacking hunt. Access to the hunting compartment and cabin requires wading the Pedernales River. Notice: Cabin sleeping quarters are shared. Hunt may be cancelled if river conditions prohibit safe transit. Game carts are provided.
