Only drawn hunt group members will be allowed to hunt. No hunt group members can be added or substituted after application. All hunt group members must attend a mandatory orientation at 12:00 p.m. on the first day of the hunt period. No latecomers will be accepted on E-postcard Waterfowl Hunts. Hunters that do not arrive by the 12:00 p.m. mandatory orientation will forfeit their position on the hunt. No exceptions will be made. Hunt locations will be assigned at the orientation and hunters will be allowed to hunt the Saturday morning following the orientation. Temporary blinds may be erected; however, any man-made material must be removed prior to the end of the hunt. The area exists almost entirely within the Trinity River floodplain and is subject to prolonged periods of extensive flooding that may require cancellation of hunts on short notice.
