Hunters that do not arrive by the 12:00 p.m. mandatory orientation will forfeit their position on the hunt. No exceptions will be made. Hunt locations will be assigned at the orientation and hunters will be allowed to hunt the Saturday morning following the orientation. Temporary blinds may be erected; however, any man-made material must be removed prior to the end of the hunt. The area exists almost entirely within the Trinity River floodplain and is subject to prolonged periods of extensive flooding that may require cancellation of hunts on short notice.
