All adult hunters must possess a current Annual Public Hunting Permit (APH) to apply.
Transportation to and from the assigned hunting compartment will be the responsibility of the hunter. Pickup trucks and 4wheel drive vehicles with high ground clearance are encouraged and will provide access to a greater portion of the hunting compartment. All-terrain vehicle (ATV) and off-road vehicle (ORV) use is allowed and encouraged.

Hunt Restrictions
No facilities will be available including water, restrooms, campground, check station, or cleaning station. Hunters should be prepared to process harvested game off-site. Hunter Orange is required.
Hunt Method
Compartment ; The area exists almost entirely in Trinity River floodplain and is subject to prolonged periods of extensive flooding that may require cancellation of hunts. All weather footgear is encouraged.
