Before hunting drawn hunters must attend the one and only mandatory hunter orientation at Alazan Bayou WMA headquarters at 3:00 pm on the first day of the hunt period. After orientation you will be shown the area to familiarize yourself. Hunting will occur on the 2nd and 3rd days of your hunt period. NOTE: No latecomers will be accepted on E-postcard Multi-species Hunts. Hunters that do not arrive by the 3:00 p.m. mandatory orientation will forfeit their position on the hunt. No exceptions will be made.

FALCONRY IS THE ONLY LEGAL MEANS FOR THIS HUNT. Falconers will have access to approximately 3,300 acres of the park. Because of the extremely rugged terrain of the park, falconers should be prepared for a very strenuous hunt that may occur during severe winter conditions such as freezing rain or snow.

Vehicular access is restricted to public roadways. Falconers are responsible for driving to compartments. Some compartment access is from high-clearance 4X4 county road. Use of atvs, horses & dogs are prohibited. FALCONRY IS THE ONLY LEGAL MEANS.

Entire Area; Camping is available within the main park. Reservations for campsites may be made online through the Texas Parks and Wildlife website. The park remains open to the public during this hunt.

Standby applicants must possess the APH permit to enter the standby drawing. Each group will be assigned a hunt compartment. All legal firearm means are allowed (no archery or crossbow). Legal daylight shooting hours only (no night hunting). All hunters must attend a mandatory orientation at 11:00 am on the first day of the hunt period (Saturday). This hunt will take place on the San Antonio River Unit (Unit 760) of the Guadalupe Delta WMA. Hunters must attend a noon mandatory orientation at the Guadalupe Delta WMA headquarters on the Friday of each hunt period. Hunters may camp on the area however there are no facilities available.
