This free, all-day event will include information on historical accounts of the Texas Hill Country and the Kerr WMA along with ecosystems management and taking a holistic approach to land improvement. The program will also include a summary of past and present deer research, over 40 years, from the Donnie E. Harmel White-tailed Deer Research Pens; an update on the status of feral hogs; a look at different survey techniques for deer and an overview of TPWD programs and how they can help you! A field tour of our WMA and research facilities will follow the classroom portion of the day.

For further information and registration please contact the Kerr WMA headquarters by calling 830-238-4483.
