An APH Permit is not needed for Special Permit drawn hunts conducted by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Drawn Hunts On-line System. All deer hunting is by Special Permit drawing. The Limited Public Use (LPU) Permit allows an adult to enter the WMA for bird watching, hiking, fishing, biking, etc. but they may not hunt on the WMA or possess firearms or archery equipment.
