Open on specific days during Early Teal Season and South Zone Waterfowl Season and drawn hunts for alligator, feral hog and white-tailed deer.

Directions

Mad Island Wildlife Management Area is located nine miles east of the town of Collegeport in Matagorda County. From Bay City take Highway 35 west 12 miles to FM 1095. Take FM 1095 south approximately 13 miles to Brazos Tower Road (CR 378). Turn left on Brazos Tower Road and travel two miles to Franzen Road (CR 374). Turn left on Franzen Road and follow the signs.
