Caption/Information: Ray Hanselman, Jr, landed this 8-pound largemouth bass on a topwater lure fished around brush tops east of the Highway 277 bridge on Lake Amistad. Trees and other vegetation covered by rising waters — as well as TPWD stocking and abundant forage — have made Lake Amistad a bass fishing destination nationwide.
