Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Acquires New Wildlife Management Area in Stephens County

AUSTIN — On August 3, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) acquired 2,850-acres in Stephens County. This property, which will become the Robbie Davis Wildlife Management Area (WMA), is a culmination of more than a decade of partnership between TPWD and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (TPWF).

QUITAQUE— The bison that call Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway home are growing their range thanks to recent land acquisitions in Briscoe County. The westward additions grow the park to about 17,500 acres of the unique rugged plains and red-walled canyons of the Caprock Escarpment.
