AUSTIN – With a sharp rise in boating-related fatalities and a spike in arrests for boating while intoxicated (BWI), Texas Game Wardens remind boaters to follow the rules and safety precautions that can help them avoid preventable accidents as they head to the water to beat the summer heat.

May 27, 1:20 p.m. — Texas Game Wardens and the Grapevine Police Department have Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez, the suspect tied to the death of Ava Moore in custody. We are thankful for the help of fellow law enforcement officers from the Texas Attorney General’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Dallas Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations.
