AUSTIN – A new state law from the recent legislative session will require mandatory boater education for more people in Texas, a move supporters say will save lives and make crowded waters safer.
It’ll be “all hands on deck” during the July 4th holiday weekend as state game wardens take to crowded and in some cases dangerously low Texas lakes to enforce boating laws.
AUSTIN – Summer’s a great time to hit the water in Texas, but it’s both easier to get in trouble and harder for others to recognize that someone’s in danger than most people think.
The worsening Texas drought is not only taking a toll on yards, crops and wildlife – it can be deadly for boaters.
