ATHENS – O.H. Ivie stepped back on stage Saturday morning with its second Legacy Class largemouth bass of the 2025 Toyota ShareLunker collection season. O.H. Ivie, which has been the dominant waterbody for big bass during the past few collection seasons, kicked the year off with the first Legacy Class fish on Jan. 2.
ATHENS – Nearly two years to the day after reeling in ShareLunker 641 from Lake Alan Henry, angler Ross Gomez caught a 14.78-pound bass only to discover it was the same fish.

ATHENS – The Toyota ShareLunker program roared into February with two Legacy Class lunkers on back-to-back days. Lady Bird Lake returned to the Legacy class limelight for the first time in a decade on Wednesday afternoon followed by J.B. Thomas on Thursday afternoon with its first Legacy Class fish of 2025.
ATHENS – The 2024 Toyota ShareLunker season reached new heights thanks to 371 anglers who entered a record 689 lunker largemouth bass into the program throughout the year from 89 Texas public waterbodies.
ATHENS – Richland-Chambers Reservoir is back in the Toyota ShareLunker Legacy Class spotlight for the first time since 2008. Dylan Sorrells of Dallas reeled in 13.64-pound ShareLunker 671 Sunday afternoon, giving the waterbody its fifth overall Legacy Class fish. It’s the second Legacy Class fish for the 2025 Toyota ShareLunker collection season that includes ShareLunker 670 caught Jan. 2 at O.H. Ivie.

ATHENS – The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center (TFFC) will host a two-day training event conducted by Toyota ShareLunker program partner Bass University. The in-person event takes place Jan. 11-12 in the Hart-Morris Conference Center at TFFC.
