NBC Sports Network to Broadcast Toyota Texas Bass Classic Nationwide Nov. 11

ATHENS—More than 75 million homes will be able to watch this year’s Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) when it airs on NBC Sports Network November 11. Considered the world championship of bass fishing, the TTBC event was held in Conroe September 28-30 and featured three days of country music and a barbecue cook-off championship.

Former ShareLunker Program Manager Inducted into National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame

ATHENS—David L. Campbell, a retired employee of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and long-time manager of TPWD’s ShareLunker program, has been notified of his induction into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward, Wisconsin, in recognition of his contributions to the sport and heritage of freshwater fishing.
