DENTON — Ray Roberts Lake State Park, Greenbelt Alliance and the City of Denton will host the 2nd Annual GreenFest on Greenbelt from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28 at Ray Roberts Lake State Park – Greenbelt Park on FM 455.

MOODY – Mother Neff State Park, the first official Texas state park, will undergo an extreme makeover in coming months that will include a new headquarters, new campground and other amenities.
FORT DAVIS – Starting Sept. 3, Davis Mountains State Park will be temporarily closed while Texas Parks and Wildlife staff undertakes a major upgrade of the park’s utility system. The closure will last through March 1, 2014.
