Frio and Zavala County CWD Zone Description
Surveillance Zones 13, 17, 20, and 21 are that portion of Frio or Zavala County within a 2-mile area around the perimeter of the CWD-positive deer breeding facilities as illustrated on the map. Any deer harvested within the 2-mile Surveillance Zone is subject to mandatory sampling.
