Presentation: Texas Carp: A Whole New Perspective

Shannon Drawe has been fly-fishing for carp since 2007, and has used his photography and writing skills for the Texas Fly Caster website — and other outdoor publications — to bring attention to the excitement and challenges of fly-fishing big Texas lakes for unusual species, like the common carp. 2016 was a pivotal year, as Shannon recovered from throat cancer, and began using his 2016 saltwater skiff to chase carp and other fish species across Texas fresh and salt waters. He is currently based in Denton, and guides for carp on Lake Ray Roberts.
