Discovery Hikes with the Kids
Ranger-led nature hikes will get kids outdoors with their folks to discover and experience nature through sight, sound, feeling, touching and smelling. Magnifying glasses and binoculars provided!

Join us for a program on how Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the Civilian Conservation Corps permanently changed this country in the 1930s and pulled struggling citizens out of the Great Depression.
Take a Stroll Through Time on the Indian Lodge Walking Tour!
Bring your steaming cup of coffee and join us as we take a short walk around the grounds of the Indian Lodge and learn about the rich history of Camp Washington Seawell and Company 879 who built the lodge and Davis Mountains State Park.
KIDS! Learn what it means to be a park ranger and how to protect our beautiful state parks with this SELF-GUIDED program ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! Check out a loaner Explorer Pack and/or complete fun Junior Ranger journal activities on your own time and receive an official badge! (ages 6-12 years)
