Come hear stories about the colorful characters and events which shaped the development of the coolest town in Texas (and highest county seat).

The highest town in Texas has a fascinating past. Join Ranger Charlie and hear stories about its origin. He'll discuss why a U.S. Army fort is located here, how Butterfield Overland Mail Company rode through, and some of the local characters who shaped the town.
