Morning Bird Walk

Enjoy the wide variety of bird species found in the park during peak spring migratory season.

Join park hosts, Steve & Sue, on an informative and fun bird walk around the park. They have park hosted at DMSP for nearly 15 years and love to share their knowledge with visitors. You are sure to see some interesting birds and plants along the way. This 1.5 mile walk sticks to pavement.

Meet: at the Interpretive Center

Bring: binoculars, walking shoes, water, hat

Cost: Free for campers, Indian Lodge guests, or day users. Daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass
