Action
Nonprofit Partners Resolution
May 2005
I. Executive Summary: Pursuant to Texas Parks and Wildlife Code, Section 11.202, as enacted by S.B. 305, 77th Texas Legislature, staff will present for consideration to the full Commission, a resolution adopting additional nonprofit partners to the current Closely Related Nonprofit Partners and Other Nonprofit Partners lists.
II. Discussion: As new nonprofit partners are added, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission will be requested to readopt a resolution and approve additions to these lists.
III. Recommendation: The staff recommends the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission adopt the following motion:
"The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission adopts by resolution (Exhibit A) and the additions to the Closely Related Nonprofit Partners (Exhibit B) and Other Nonprofit Partners (Exhibit C) lists."

A Resolution by the
Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission
Adopting Nonprofit Partners
Whereas, the Department maintains beneficial relationships with numerous nonprofit partners as defined in Parks and Wildlife Code §11.201;
Whereas, the Department must maintain Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission approval of all nonprofit partners selected;
Whereas, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission shall require the nonprofit partner to comply with guidelines specified under 31 TAC Section 51.165;
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission that the additions to the Closely Related Nonprofit Partners and Other Nonprofit Partners lists are hereby adopted.
In official recognition hereof, we hereby affix our signatures this 26th day of May 2005.
