Taking Care of Texas
November 3, 2011

I. Executive Summary: Taking Care of Texas’s (TCT) mission is to engage more Texans in coordinating and enhancing conservation efforts benefitting land, water, and wildlife, thereby improving the quality of life for all Texans. TCT acknowledges the instrumental role that the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department plays in conservation and seeks the recognition and support of its commission.

II. Discussion: Taking Care of Texas President Katharine Armstrong and Secretary Tina Buford will describe the new initiative and ask Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to be a partner.
