Paper Options for Printing MLDP Tags
You are responsible for printing and keeping the tag in legible condition. If printing on paper that is not weatherproof, place tag inside Ziploc bag or use another method to keep tag dry and legible. TPWD has printed MLDP tags on Teslin or Tyvek paper in past years, but any of the paper types below will be sufficient. Amazon or other online stores that sell office supplies or paper are good sources to order some of the specialty papers listed below.
Note: TPWD does not endorse any particular paper or printing method. Pro/cons listed are the result of "print your own tag" pilot testing over a two-year period.
