Late Risers First Day Hike

Start your new year outdoors! Join us for our annual first day hikes.

Start the new year off right, outside! Join us for an early afternoon hike along the Abilene Dam Road Trail. We welcome any canine friends on leashes. Strollers are not recommended due to rough terrain.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Length: 2.5 miles, hike will end where it began.

Meet: Abilene Lake Trailhead

Bring: Water, close-toed shoes, jackets

Cost: Free with park admission. On busy weekends, reserve your day pass early online!
