Discover a hidden world at the water’s edge!
Life goes on all around us in ways that are often overlooked or just out of sight. This is your chance to explore the waters of Lake Wright Patman in a whole new way! Gently collect organisms with a net from the bank and see what lives in the shallow waters. You’ll learn how to identify these tiny creatures and what they can tell us about water quality.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The collection area is wet and muddy. Please wear clothes and footwear that can get wet and dirty. Rubber boots are recommended but not required.

What to Bring: Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Rain/Mud Boots
Cost: Free with paid park admission ($3 for per person 13 and older; 12 and under are free) or with a Texas State Parks Pass.
