Take a ranger-led walk through the park to see some magnificent migratory birds.
As the mornings grow crisp, some of the park's most spectacular birds stop by!
Balmorhea is home to two ciénegas, a special type of desert wetland. With only 40 remaining in the entire world, not only are the ciénegas rare, but the species they shelter as well.
Whether you're an expert birder collecting observations, or someone who has never had the opportunity to use a pair of binoculars, this program is welcome to anyone who'd like to take a closer look at some of our feathered friends!
