Join a Ranger at the Contrabando Movie Set to learn about some of the Birds that inhabit the Big Bend area. 

When: Friday, March 6, 2026, at 9 AM. 

Where: Contrabando Movie Set. Located on FM 170 (River Road), approximately 6.3 miles west of Barton Warnock Visitor Center and 41 miles east of Fort Leaton State Historic Site. 

What to Bring:

• Water and snacks
• Sunscreen
• Binoculars (optional)

Cost: This event is free with park admission, $5 per person 13 and older. Park Admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
