Christmas Bird Count at BBRSP

Birders of all skills are invited to help survey the birds in Big Bend Ranch SP. Participation is free.
Big Bend Ranch now hosts its own Christmas Bird Count, which is predominantly contained within the boundaries of the park. The entire survey takes place within the low Chihuahuan Desert region. We utilize several standard driving routes, along with numerous hiking paths and specialized routes designated for 4X4 vehicles, paddle routes (when water flow permits in certain years), and even horseback-accessible routes.
When: Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, at 6 AM.
