Where: East Contrabando Trailhead. Located on FM 170, approximately 1/2 mile from the Barton Warnock Visitor Center and 51 miles east of Fort Leaton SHS.
Bring:
- Red lights (to preserve night vision)
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Closed-toed shoes
- Water
- Bug spray
Cost: This event is free with park admission, $5 per person 13 and older. Park Admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
After Hour Passes: You can reserve your pass online here. If you do not reserve your day pass in advance online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope in the parking lot of the Barton Warnock Visitor Center or Fort Leaton State Historic Site.
