Moth-O-Geddon: The Night Shift in Big Bend Ranch

Join us for National Moth Week to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and ecological importance of moths.

When the sun sets over Big Bend Ranch, a whole new crew of pollinators takes the stage. Join us for Moth-o-geddon, an evening program celebrating the vital role moths and other nocturnal insects play in keeping the desert alive. We’ll gather around a glowing moth sheet to observe these night-flying gardeners up close, explore how light pollution impacts their survival, and share simple ways you can help protect the night sky for wildlife. Bring your curiosity and your camera, you never know what fascinating creatures might flutter in!
