Join us for Moth-o-geddon, a celebration of the desert’s nocturnal pollinators! Discover the vital role moths play in the Chihuahuan Desert ecosystem and learn how protecting our night skies helps them thrive.

When the sun sets over Big Bend Ranch, a whole new crew of pollinators takes the stage. Join us for Moth-o-geddon, an evening program celebrating the vital role moths and other nocturnal insects play in keeping the desert alive. We’ll gather around a glowing moth sheet to observe these night-flying gardeners up close, explore how light pollution impacts their survival, and share simple ways you can help protect the night sky for wildlife. Bring your curiosity and your camera, you never know what fascinating creatures might flutter in!
