What is an atlatl? Join Ranger Layla to find out and learn the importance of this tool to the earliest inhabitants of the Big Bend.
Please Note: This event includes throwing a projectile point.
When: Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 9 AM to 10 AM.
Where: Barton Warnock Visitor Center
Bring: Water.
Wear: Comfortable lightweight layers, a hat, and close-toed shoes.
Cost: This event is free with park admission, $5 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
