Discover the little critters of the Lost Pines!

July 25th - Learn about birds and bird beaks and their purposes through a hands on activity. 

Our Lost Pines Master Naturalists will be there to share fun an interesting information about the birds of the Lost Pines and those that migrate through. Join in on some fun hands-on discovery about the birds that call Bastrop State Park home! 

This is a come and go program; drop by anytime between 9am to 12pm. 

August 22nd - All about insects! Learn about the cool little critters that call the park home. 

This is a come and go program; drop by anytime between 8am and 11am. 

Where: Both events will meet at the picnic table under the trees between the playground and pool.

This program is free after park entry fee is paid. $5 per adult. Children 12 and under are free!
