Building Blocks of the CCC

Learn about the CCC who built the parks and try your hand at building a roman arch and a paper army hat!

Learn about the laborers who built our park and many other State Parks in Texas and across the nation! Try your hand at building a "stone" arch with building blocks then make and decorate your own Garrison Hat! 

Program from 10am to 11am. 

Meet at the CCC Rain Shelter/Group Picnic Shelter in Copperas Creek Camp Loop near the restroom building. 

All park programs are free after park entrance fee is paid. 
Park entrance fee is $5 per adult. Children 12 and under are free.
