Interpretive Center Docent Training

Become a volunteer and help man our Interpretive Center!

This volunteer position allows you to stay indoors! Keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter! Interpretive Center Docents help keep the interpretive center open for the public! At this training you'll learn opening, closing and mid day procedures. You'll learn some history about the park, commonly asked questions and how to loan out equipment. 

We're looking for friendly folks that love to be helpful and love Bastrop State Park! 

It's an easy and rewarding gig!
