Join a ranger to touch and learn about the different critters that you might see or hear from your campsite! Who's outside your tent at night, what's making that noise or who got into our trash bag? Come find out!
Join us at the metal picnic tables between the pool and the playground at Bastrop State Park. There will be a white State Parks truck parked behind the tables.
Bastrop State Park is just 15 minutes up highway 71 from Buescher State Park! Or 45 minutes up Scenic Park Road 1C from Buescher to Bastrop.
Bring folding camp chairs if you would like a more comfortable seat than metal benches.
Program is free after park entrance fee has been paid.
$5 per adult. Kids 12 and under are free.
