Tracking 101

Learn about some of the common animals of Central Texas, their scat and prints, and the basics on how to track a wounded animal.

Meet: Behind the interpretive center.

Bring: Bottled water, wear closed toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing.

Be prepared to walk around half a mile with some portions being off trail possibly in tall grass or scratchy vegetation. Long pants, sleeves and insect repellent recommended. 

Program is free after park entrance fee is paid. Park entrance fee is $5 per adult, children 12 and under are free.
