Join us for a 1-mile hike to learn about the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), Company 854. We'll learn about the CCC and then leisurely hike around the park to see many of the CCC structures. There will be an option to extend the hike for those wanting a longer hiking experience.

We will meet at the long tables and learn a bit about the Civilian Conservation Corps that built many structures within Blanco State Park. We'll then take a leisurely hike for about one mile on a level, mostly flat surface, including paved roads and a level, flat trail.

Meet:  At the Long Tables, in the west-side day-use area.

Bring/Wear: Water, hat, and other layers as needed for comfort as well as comfortable shoes, if walking.

Cost:  Free with paid park admission. Day passes are $5 for adults, youth ages 12 and under are free.
