Explore the diet of these fascinating predators!
Explore the diet of owls by dissecting an owl pellet.
Owls often eat their prey whole. Because they are unable to digest teeth, bones, and feathers, owls regurgitate these remains in a single compact nugget called a pellet.
During this activity, we will explore the prey owls eat and learn about the importance of balance within the food web.
Supplies are limited, so registration is required. Please register here.
